The Jordan Melo 1.5 Black Silver Blue, released in 2014, is a Carmelo Anthony signature shoe. It has a rounded, mid-top silhouette and debossed Carmelo branding at the collar. The upper is black with blue overlays and a Metallic Silver Jumpman on the side of the heel. Nubuck, synthetic nylon-like material, and textured fabric went into constructing the shoes. A Phylon foam midsole houses full-length Air to provide impact absorption and responsive cushioning. For traction, the sneakers rely on a combination of concentric circular traction patterns, U-shaped flex grooves, and solid rubber.
