The name "Jordan 6-17-23" doesn't refer to a date but rather, to three different classic Air Jordan releases that this particular shoe brings together: the Air Jordan 6, the Air Jordan 17, and the Air Jordan 23. The bump-out collar and heel spoiler are taken from the Jordan 6, the sleek plastic-molded eyelets and the smooth toecap come from the Jordan 17, and the shiny black rubber midsole overlay comes from the Jordan 23. The upper is made of black suede, and the overlays are decorated with red and write embroidery along their edges. The outsole tastefully combines black rubber at the very front and on parts of the heel with white rubber covered over by a layer of semi-transparent icy blue rubber.
