As such, there is a wide assortment of parts and accessories available for these Haier appliances to keep them running efficiently.
What does an inlet valve do in a washing machine?The inlet valve is the part of a washing machine that admits water into the appliance. This valve is designed to open and close based on the amount of water in the washing machine. The inlet valve responds to a sensor within the washing machine that can tell when the basin is full. Once the basin is full, the inlet valve closes automatically.
What is a dryer belt’s function?The dryer belt is the component in a drying appliance that spins the drying drum. This belt is usually made of a flexible plastic material, and it wraps around the edge of the drying drum. If this part is working properly, it should not make any noise.
What other washer and dryer parts are there?- Drain pump: This is the part that pumps water out of a washing machine basin. Water is pumped out of a washing machine during multiple parts of the washing cycle, and the drain pump ensures that no water is left behind.
- Drain hose: This part connects to the drain pump, and it carries water out of the washing machine and into the wastewater system in the home. The drain hose is usually made of metal or plastic.
- Wool-pad filter: A wool-pad filter is used to filter the air coming out of a drying appliance. This air is known as exhaust, and it often carries particulate matter. The wool-pad filter makes sure that these particles aren't released into the air outside.
- Blower wheel: Dryers use hot air to dry clothes. The blower wheel attaches to the drive motor's shaft, and it blows hot air throughout the drying appliance.
- Inlet hose: The inlet hose carries water to the inlet valve of a washing machine. Cold and hot water inlet hoses are needed for the proper operation of a washing machine.
- Inlet-hose adapter: This adapter is used if the water outlet coming out of the wall is not compatible with the water inlet in the washing machine.
- Lint-screen cover: This component is installed inside of a drying appliance. It accumulates the lint that is created when clothes dry. The lint screen should be emptied regularly.
- Washer-drum assembly: This is the component of a washing machine into which clothes are placed. If this component develops any issues, it can be replaced.
