Compresor de aire ARB Automotive

ARB Automotive Air Compressor

Since 1975, ARB has been designing accessories and parts for four-wheel drive vehicles in their home country of Australia as well as across the world. The brand consistently continues to research and develop new items, including the ARB portable air compressor. When you need a compressor for your 4x4, consider an ARB automotive compressor.

How do you use the mounted compressor?

Your ARB air compressor uses a mounting bracket in the engine of your automobile for easy installation. If there is not enough room under the hood, you can use a special bracket to place the air compressor anywhere there is a flat surface in your vehicle. Examples include under your seats and in the wheel well of your trunk. The goal of permanently mounting the equipment is to allow you to efficiently refill your tires as needed and get you back to 4-wheeling.

What pump types are available for the ARB air compressor?

There are two types of pumps for ARB air compressors, which are the single-stage and the two-stage pumps. A single stage is designed for private owners or small shops that use ARB. This pump compresses the air at approximately 125 psi and then releases the air into a storage tank for use. Two-stage pumps are commonly used in large workshops and factories. After the first piston compresses the air, the pump sends the air to another piston where it is then released into a storage tank at 175 psi.

Are there portable options for air compressors?

While a permanently mounted compressor is handy for pneumatic activities on-board the 4x4, other pneumatic needs occur outside of the vehicle. A portable 12-volt model allows you to efficiently handle air mattresses, lawn tractors, and tires for your personal car.

What accessories are used with the portable and permanent units?

In addition to the ARB air compressor, youll also find a variety of items that will assist during your four-wheeling adventure. These accessories include products for:

  • Deflation - A deflation kit allows you to efficiently remove air from the tires in case of over-inflation. The tires will deflate in increments of 1 psi, regardless of temperature or levels of humidity.
  • Repair - Dont let a leaky tire or a flat get in the way of your fun. With valves, valve caps, Allen keys, and a reamer tool, you can fix problems as soon as they occur.
  • Pressure monitoring - Spot a leak before it gets larger using an internal or external monitoring system. The monitor displays the psi of the tires and alerts you to problems as they occur.
